i think my ignitor in my s13 is dead cant find 1 anyway so is there any after maket item that can go in it place or can it be changed to ran with out it or dose anyone have

SAU was a good forum to ask about a silvia engine

maybe find someone who has the same engine and ask if you can swap it.

what is the issue?

i no mate but cant get any help on silvia

car was running 2 years ago and now no spark i have tried another cas and still nothing so im think ignitor is stuffed

Might be a silly question but have you spun the CAS by hand and checked that the plugs are firing? (IE seen the plug fire a spark?)

Also can you hear the injectors ticking away (again spinning the CAS by hand.)

If its been two years since running you may want to check that the fuel rail is not gummed up, can you smell fuel in the cylinders / coming out of the exhaust?

That is where I always start with these sort of issues

whre abouts are you located? i have 2 spares

Also, you could test them with a test light \ multimeter to see if power is coming in \ out of each wire \ circuit.

yeah mate checked fuel supply all good and yeah span cas and use test light and there was nothing

oh im in Brissy so coming around and grabbing one to borrow isnt really an option ha ha

if you go looking to buy one you will find that s13 and s14 have the same part number ignitor so that might widen your choices!
