Hi Guys,

Ive got a Greddy Type RS BOV which i managed to get for free. Im getting my mechanic to install it with a plumb back setup. Now my question is, the adapter is too small for the RB25 flange & you cant simply just buy an adapter for this BOV to fit an RB25.

At the moment I think my mechanic is going to be either make a custom adapter to fit it to my standard RB25 flange or he might just weld it to the cooler piping.

I personally think id prefer it custom fitted to the flange on the inlet with the stock BOV originally is factory. Mainly because its neater and ive heard the BOV should be as close to the throttle body as possible...

I know its a wanky topic but would appreciate your help/advice.

Thanks

Dean

i have one that is welded to cooler piping no problems!! however i agree it should be as close to throttle body for sure as when throttle is closed it can vent as much boosted air in the pipes (back to intake in plumb back or to atmosphere). However you can buy a flange that should work for rb25 man.
