Hey

I was wondering how people dyno their auto RB25's.

I know that if you unplug the red auto loom plug, it will lock the auto in 3rd and disable the kickdown, but is this the best way to do it? This would put the auto in limp mode which could skew the way it behaves.

How about just putting it in 2nd with snow mode on?

The reason I ask is that I had my RWD auto Stagea dynoed the other day and we used the 'red plug' trick. The dyno chart is below and i'm wondering if that big trough in the midrange is the auto having a sook about being in limp mode. The car is on boost at about 3k and the afr's are sweet but we couldn't get rid of that big trough. Or perhaps that is normal for autos? I'm new to them

Any ideas?
