can also depend on the FACE of the wheel. some wheels have same offsets but different face styles. good example is rays wheels, have face A, B and C and only 1 of those face styles will clear the brembos.

good to do research. every set of rims will differ.

it all depend on the shape of the spokes, the way it curves... offset is just one of the many factors...

but FYI, standard 18" oem rims are +30mm offset. with the same shape of spoke and thickness you wouldn't want it to be less than +30mm as it will be a very close clearance... but then you must also consider the thickness of the rims, if you don't want it to stick out of your front guards and look silly.

So the answer to your question is - unknown. there is no way to make sure unless you physically trial fit the rims.

No. 1 myth - Offset does not determine brake clearance.

Disk type does or some people call it the X Factor.

Below is an example of standard, low and high disk rims.

Work Wheels normally denote this with O, R and A

Rays use A,B and C

SSR use Hi, Low, Standard

If you are buying a Jap wheel the specs car will normally give you this info.

Hope this clears things up Pete.
