Hello,

here is my s15 ive been building for a while now,

im planning to run 9 sec passes on pump fuel manual... should do it easily....

my aim is 650whp on about 23 psi

will do 600whp no problems ive been told by my engine builder considering the combo

engine specs

rb26

micro polished and grub screwed crank

block dipped and crack tested, chemically cleaned

new welsh plugs

arp main studs

pauter rods

cp pistons, modified with custom gudgeon pins .20 thou oversize

all balanced and blueprinted

nitto oil pump

ati super damper 1000hp balancer

very very big and polished port job...

cc chambers

arp head studs

edges deburred

metal head gasket

ferrera oversize valves

hks 272 10.2mm lift camshafts in and out

hks step 2 valve springs

jun type b titanium retainers

bronze valve guides

high energy sump to suit rwd

adjustable cam gears

1000cc injectors

greddy rail

sx fpr

all controlled by a motec m8 pro ecu running a m&w 6 channel cdi ignition system with Mercury coils

also has a full race twin scroll manifold, this is a work of art, there are afew pics of it....

also running hypertune plentum single t/b

garrett gt4088r .95 twin scroll turbo, rated at 800hp

sub zero 60mm wastegate from states

sx 1000hp fuel pump...

rb25 gearbox

jim berry custom single plate clutch

modified as end, s15 bare cradle with all r32 gtr bolt ons, diff, stafts brakes arms ect....

brand new respray in lexus pearl white....

car has only done 48,000kms....

hope to see it running in the next 2 months max

ita actually 4 sale atm, i have a 34 gtr im trying to negoitate with, it that sale falls thru, ill complete the s15 and race this,

the plan is to run 1 gate, 60mm sub zero gate from the states.... ive been reading its better to run the 2 gates but still dont see the major advantage

    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter? 
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
