Just got this in the mail today. If you complete this free course, they'll drop your insurance cost by 10%. Not sure if it covers JustCars, but seeing as they're both the same company its probably worth inquiring into.

under 25's only. should be available to all ages. imho.

elderly people would benefit from it, i'm sure.

they'll then know the difference between brake and accelerator. :P

Ooooooooh don't be so harsh on meeeeeee!

I still have feelings - even whilst those feelings have been dulled and calloused over the decades!

At least I WATCHED my son do the AAMI course down at Queanbeyan!!! Lolz

I don't think the discount tranfers over to Just Car tho'. But...I could be wrong! Memory faaaaaades through the seasons; even if I get wiser hehe.

One thing that's worthwhile about the free course by AAMI...

It acts as a free Replacement/Displacement for the Advanced Drivers' Course #1

This means that once you do the AAMI course, you then step up to Advanced Drivers' Course #2 (with its slaloms, skilled braking on different surfaces via hand & foot, timed runs etc).

#3 gives you experience with laps on the track.

    • I'm getting PTSD flashbacks seeing that name again.  With my turbo swift, I got 1,500km of street use on a Jim Berry clutch before it exploded and took out my input shaft with it.

    • It's all about the socialisation of the dogs. In that first 8 to 16 weeks of age they need to be taught to be nice and friendly with everything. That way they generalise it to everything. That said, some days you'll just never beat genetics, but 99% of the time dogs chasing cats is purely lack of socialisation, and then the chasing part can turn into prey drive.
