Anyone playing this at the moment, i got it on PS3 and i think it is an awesome game, extremely frustrating from time to time, but great none-the-less.

Still playing through Legacy mode atm, but am very keen to get into fights online

Also very nice graphics, the training modes are a tad annoying and some can be quite difficult

clip is a bit dark

Yeah I got it on PS3 too, by far the best boxing game I've ever played!

My boxer is now greatest of all time, I was light heavy weight and went up and smashed the bigger guys into pulp, my boxer now has an average stat ability of 90, so he's very good...

I agree, graphics are awesome!

With training, I've only mastered the maize bag, open sparring and stay on your feet. The others are just plain impossible... :)

Nice, once i finish legacy mode, i wouldnt mind going back and making a boxer that is pure power and muscle to see how it would go using mostly strength attributes, and then doing one that is pure speed and is really small

My mate bought this game, soooo addicting! I think you could play on and on versing each other and never get bored...there is no chosen winner its all about your techniuqe and skill. Top game!

definatly, a few good hits can change the whole momentum of the game, unless your simply fighting a button masher, then you just need to watch for those counter punch opportunities and punch away!

I've got it for the Xbox. It's a pretty good game, but like you said Rush, the game is very frustrating.

It's great playing against a mate though.

yeah, i'd like to get online, but my biggest concern is the lag between players being really annoying, hopefully it isnt

been playing this on 360 also

great game but like what was said can be bloody frustrating.

ive lost a few fights because i havent been able to get back up because i suck at that for some reason.

and training sessions are ridiculous. i almost always use auto train haha

auto train sucks balls, generally i can get a minimum of contender, the only training i really hate is the one where you have low health and have to stay on your feet, and the heavy bag push, because there is a buffer on your button presses, it ends up doing like 2 punches more in the wrong coloured zone on the bag, and it then ends up coming closer to me rather than moving forward.

Gonna try online play tonight

PS3 username is RusH_au for those who wanna go at it!

I've got the game on 360 and I like it...training is a pain (especially the one where you've gotta push the bag)

from the reviews i read, online lag is commonplace and also there is rampart cheating which EA has not addressed (had it happen to me a few times before where the user will drop out and the game will go to the scorecards instead of the user who dropped out credited with the loss)

YES one mofo did this to me last night, i was so freakin annoyed, and the lag was terrible, doesnt enter half of the button presses, makes doing a weave very difficult

with the heavy bag push best method is throw in bunches of 4, when the zone changes hit it with a jab first to stop it moving back quickly, then follow up with 3 hooks.. To make it even easier i find using middle weight boxers as they have more stamina so you can just keep throwing hooks, and i prefer in the actual fight to use a middleweight but work on his stamina and right hand power, stil find it easy to knock heavyweights down..

+1 for lag online, played a few fights online, hated the lag.

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
