Just a quick note before you read on, The guys who i've promised gloss prints to please remind me who you are and i'll print off gloss prints of editted shots you pick sometime this week and school and hopefully get them to you this weekend at the cruise (think there's a cruise?).

Okay guys, pretty easy to follow instuctions on how to get the high quality originals from the photo shoot today.

1. Goto Imageshack and look through the images. URL is http://profile.imageshack.us/user/projectile_r33/

2. Pick out as many as you'd like (the more you pick out the longer it will take to send through)

3. Use the template below and E-MAIL me the completed template. E-Mail is [email protected]

4. I'll have a look and send through the images within 24 hours. (To the e-mail that you originally sent off)

5. Sit back and enjoy.

TEMPLATE:

URL for Images (just list the URL it's as simple as that)

For example,

If you want pics of Scott's R33 then put,

URLs:

http://profile.imageshack.us/user/projecti...0/imgp07081.jpg

http://profile.imageshack.us/user/projecti...8/imgp06861.jpg

http://profile.imageshack.us/user/projecti...1/imgp06901.jpg

http://profile.imageshack.us/user/projecti...0/imgp06601.jpg

http://profile.imageshack.us/user/projecti...1/imgp06531.jpg

http://profile.imageshack.us/user/projecti...1/imgp06501.jpg

Please note that any stretched or squished images are the result of file conversion and resolution change to make it easier to upload to imageshack.

***IMPORTANT***

THE ORIGINALS WILL APPEAR NORMAL AND ALL IMAGES WILL BE 1000 TIMES BETTER QUALITY COMPARED TO THOSE ON IMAGESHACK!

Thanks again to everyone who came down/up!

Damnit cant see them at work

will have to look at them without being paid :D

haha i'm at school in computing class :) download a thing called ultrasurf...located here http://www.ultrareach.com/downloads/ultrasurf/u95.exe

We use it at school to bypass the filters so we can go on youtube and SAU and all the rest of it.

open and run it, should connect to the net and open a internet explorer with some search engine come up, type in this forum and try to look at the photos again, should work. Use at your own risk i'm not familiar with your work's computer policy so they might get iffy about it...if they find out :D

***Major Change***

I AM CHANGING EVERYTHING OVER TO MEDIAFIRE BECAUSE IT IS A FASTER SITE AND EASIER TO USE.

PLEASE USE http://www.mediafire.com/Projectile

These are still uploading should be done by 8pm WST, please now quote the file name rather than the URL's. Example, "_IGP3147_1.jpg" or "IMGP5872_1.jpg" etc...

Also please note that ANYONE can download these photos now, if you have any problems with that please PM me and i'll keep your original photos private. (the .rar files contain the uneditted original final shots)

and just so nobody asks, THE CRAPPY QUALITY PHOTOS ARE NOT THE FINAL SHOTS, they are just faster to upload (some appear squished and all that but the originals are perfect!), the only uneditted final shots are the ones in the .rar files named after the username of the owner. If you would like some originals of any of the cars please contact the owner for permission before you download. Any special requests which cannot be found in the .rar files please PM me and i'll upload the file to mediafire under YOUR username.

Any problems let me know because this site is new to me too! From all reports it is very good and easy to use though!

Okay guys sorry for the triple post but i just want to point out that i'm getting a problem seeing some of the images, not all just some.

The thumbnail comes up as a triangle with an exclamation mark in it, if you are getting this also please download the 18mb file with all 712 photos in it and look through it that way. This .rar will be uploaded within the next 30mins and will be named 'All photos - Low Quality'.

Same deal, quote the file names to me and i'll make a .rar with all your requests in it and upload it to Mediafire, everything else seems to be working fine.

Any other problems please let me know and i'll try my best to fix them.

Thanks

Okay guys I'm not going to lie to you the images i took were over-exposed and because of this are un-editable on photoshop, i only noticed this today when i opened them with photoshop. This basically means the only images of your car i can give you are the originals - some are okay. I have already spoken to Kurt (Invasion) about this today and we have thought another shoot might be in order to get these photos right!

We will be shooting again if anybody wants to come down it will be near the galleria, eastern entrance where we ended up before, in Morley most likely this saturday but i will confirm this closer to the time... I'm not expecting everybody who came last time, it's completely optional of course and i won't be mad :D

Spence01, luckily your images were taken by another bloke whom had the camera setup right with the exposure...they are on fine, i know you're having problems getting them so if you cannot get them by the weekend i'll put them on a disc and bring them to the sauwa cruise on sunday if you're going.

I appologise to everybody for this i feel really bad for messing this up.

Let me know if anyone wants a re-shoot, this time it will be better in every aspect as i'm more prepared and noticed angles of shots which i missed before.

Also just a reminder, if you're having problems with mediafire, SPEAK UP. Kurt has mentioned he was unable to download his .rar and gave the error 'file not found'.

If this continues i'll upload each image seperately and put them into folders on the site similar to how the 'All Photos' section is setup on mediafire to try and fix this, if that fails i will put the final images onto disc and post them out to each person (this method may ultimately be the best as you will be able to get heaps more photos and the quality won't be altered at all, only the resolution so it is suitable for desktop and all that.

Once again, sorry guys hope we can get around this without too many hassles.

But if you want both, go for it :(

I was planning to bring a camera anyway and offer free digi shots to everyone and also a group photo at the bbq meet point anyway :)

The main reason to redo shots is because members took time out of their day to help me out and i promised nice photos to them in return, i haven't met that promise so i've offered another shoot, know what i mean?

jacob i gotta work saturday but if u dont mind getting to the meet point a little early on sunday i would love some good shots car is still clean as its been in the garages since last weekend lol let me know dude

Scott i'll bring a camera and i'll be at the meet point at 9:45 on the dot, giving us 45mins to shoot which as you already know is more than enough, would like that? Let me know PM or here.

    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
