Should I Join The Qld Porsche Club

Hi,

This is going to annoy alot of people on this forum, though i do not mean to offend. On saturday I went down to qld raceway and watched my mate who has a hsv drive around the track with a group of Porsches. He is a member of the club even though he owns a HSV. The only reason why it appeals to me to join this club is bacause once a month they either go to QLD raceway or Lakeside and cut high speed laps around the track. So what my real question is are there any skyline clubs in QLD that do a similar thing, I am not really interested in drifting.

Not sure why you think this is going to offend anyone ? The porsche club do run a full motorsport calendar for the year and are pretty quick. A few of their members also join us at the track which makes a great variety of cars on the day.

If you want to come for a drive with us, the next event is the NISSAN DAY on Oct 6. The thread for that is in the events section.

Check out www.timeattack.com.au our calendar is up there, we get a lot of Skylines, EVO's etc. The cars that have done under a minute since July on the Sprint track are on the Holy Grail list on the front page.

Check out a few options and pick the one that suites you the best. Enjoy !
