Hi,

I'm looking at selling my car which was freshly imported from Japan.

This is a September 1994 GTR32 Silver in colour. It is in full original condition and has a few mild mods when it was imported into Australia in June 2009. The rest of the car is totally stock and untouched.

The car was imported into Australia with an N1 engine built in Japan. It has a RB26X engine serial number and 24U stamped on the block.

Compression test done and came out 160psi on all 6 cylinders. It also has a different oil sump but I have no idea what model it is. The engine also looks much much newer than the other parts in the engine bay. Engine head is also almost brand new. Suspect it was a crate engine installed in Japan since it also has an engine serial number. Odometer reads 105,000km.

It has cross drilled rotors, Trust Catback exhaust, stock airbox with HKS highflow panel, stock suspension, stock GTR32 rims.

Since it arrived in Australia, I have since changed the following items:

- Power FC Pro with handheld controller tuned by Chasers Motor

- Hawk performance brake pads for all 4 brakes

- Genuine Nissan O2 sensors X2

- Bosch 040 intank fuel pump

The car runs great except for slight whining noise from the aircon compressor (inspected and confirmed by the mechanic)

The rest of the car is in total original condition and it is a very very well maintained car. The car is always parked in a secure sheltered carpark and it is used only on weekends.

Selling the car for $23,000 with rego till July 2010. Car is located in Melbourne.

Reason for selling: I need to free up cash for other commitments.

Please sms/call 0402-120-107. No time wasters or test pilots please. Lowballers will also be ignored as the car is really in a very good condition.

Any pictures?

Was this a personal import?

Will post pics up tonight. This is not a personal import. The price of the car is neg. It is really in excellent condition and the engine is running as new.

Engine in the car has the same engine as what is stated in the topic below:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...Nu-t192670.html

It has an X at the end of the engine serial number with an R directly above it.

Of course the engine serial number is different from what is in the topic link.

The engine looks very new and is definitely a different shade compared to the rest of the components in the engine bay.

Compression tested to be 160psi in all 6 cylinders.

Car recently fitted with

1. 3" high flow metal cat from Dandy exhaust

2. 5 X Defi gauges (Boost, Tacho, Oil Pres, Oil Temp, Water Temp) --> (Last 3 gauges are Defi BF series with white light)

3. Blitz IColour boost controller tuned to 1bar

Defi gauges and boost controller will come with the car if the price is right.

Genuine reason for selling.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
