Other Comments: bought the car in june 09 as an incomplete project. basically to rego the car, you fit the fmic (supplied), put cd player in (supplied), speedo cable (supplied, not fitted as yet) and shes good to go.

car has new windscreen, new muffler, new headunit (not installed), new fmic (not installed)), wiring completely re-done.

needs a manual gearboot surround and precious little else to be finished along with the above outlined.

i want to finish it, however, new career choice hasnt left me with much point and im not in a financial position to keep this and buy another car.

i have a bucket load of parts and bits and pieces to go with it too, including 4 piston front calipers, and the hicas stuff that isnt in it anymore.

have a nice day

bump......

car is going to engineering next week

only thing that hasnt been done is the fmic fitted (still has factory smic).

price will rise once car passes engineering, and will rise again once it is rego'd.

open to swaps,

car is now engineered and has 12months rego on it.

runs extremely well.

i also now have 280mm rotors to slide on my 4 pot calipers. i havent fitted these yet. the rotors are brand new from midnight mods.

as i said, open to swaps, let me know what you got.

or purchase price of $8500 now due to 12 months rego and engineering.

edit: manual gear surround has been fitted also, so interior is now complete.

i know my old man bought his z32 from melb and didnt have much trouble getting it rego from vic to nsw, but im unsure about going the other way.

as i say, best to ask racv.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
