Yeh seen your car before leigh when cruising with Beza one night with the JDMCOP and JUCY 180 a couple of weeks back, all good though already have a c/f bonnet on order atm

If this means anything...don't forget to get some bonnet pins on there...this is a must...although it may or may not happen...without my bonnet pins, I really cannot drive without stressing that it will fly upwards and hit my windscreen...worth investing in...

yeh dont worry wudnt try and drive without pins, my mates came up and smashed his roof and windscreen on him...wudnt think to risk it

Isn't the original bonnet latch strong enough to hold it down?

from all accounts on here it seems to be that the CF bonnets dont have as much ribbing or rigidity as the stock metal item, so the original bonnet latch is strong enough to hold the front middle section of the CF bonnet but the bonnet flexes when it gets wind under it at speed and front corners lift up...

got the aerocatch latches from vsport.com.au so the cars in ready to be fitted, as for c/f bonnet no longer need one as I've got one now

as for latch, some ppl have had bonnets pop up and hit their windscreen, not necessarily everyone but its just better option to fit them rather than risk it for $100

In theory yes...but because they are so lite and don't always fit tightly like the stock ones do...all it takes is constant airflow and a bit of bad luck and bang - you not only get your bonnet cracked but also your windscreen - not cheap to say the least...plus, can potentially be dangerous too...imagine driving at 100 km/h plus and then the bonnet flies upwards and hits you right in the glass...

I wouldn't definitely pay the $240 and get it fitted properly too!
