Yeah Prank. I am serious about this site. Damn we just need to draw more of the aussies back here. God Damn SDU has our users and they wont let us advertise this website to bring them back and the only way I can see is by PM people you know.

I emailed all the mailing lists that I am on.

Also, I dont want people to think that I am trying to compete with SDU at all. This is totally seperate and I would like it to be for all cars, not just skylines.

Christian.

Prank your not competing? How are you? They dont want us there anyways unless we post words that they put into our mouths? Its all Baloney and as the english say,,, Bullocks!

You did the right thing by setting a more relaxed comfortable environment for us Australian ex SDU people. Well done.

Hi guys.

I have started a Yahoo group to discuss how you guys can get started with your own club. Prank, Meggala and Kabab are representing you at this stage.

Your forum reminds me of how ours used to be. It was just awesome. Unfortunately with 2700 people registered there are a few in there who have nothing better to do with their day than shit stir and tell outright lies. We had to do something.

Please bear with us while we work through some changes to get the forum and club back on track.

Mike Brown

President

Skylines Downunder Car Club Inc.

Yes it sad that it has come to this, but look at it this way, all those who were social are coming over here, not the bum-headz (seems to be my fav term on these forums) so how can it be a bad thing. We all have a lot to thank SDU for but we all also have alot to give them the finger about.

Big upz to Prank and the Mysfit crew, I am happy to stay here as long as I am welcome, and I hope that the Mysfit name stays, as this is not a Skyline Club and we have no right to take it over.

but thats what some people tried with sdu and didn't like it when they didn't get there own way.

i've posted someinfo on that yahoo board, i've got all the paper work. give me some answers and i will act and let the beurocrats push the papers around and see if we're accepted.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
