Hey everyone,

Never thought id be doing this but I am, regretfully, the time has come to sell off these awesome wheels.

They are Work 'Maximers' 18 x 10 +22. A true old school set of wheels, no longer in production, very uncommon, perfectly suited to the era of 32s and 33 GTRs but good for 34s too! They always turn heads! Very fat! Perfect fitment for GTRs, they sit RIGHT ON the edge of the guards.

Condition is fantastic, I think there is one tiny bit of rash on one of the wheels, but ill confirm with some detailed photos soon. Centre caps included.

They come with tyres, Hankook Ventus K107s, 285 / 35. These are probably at about 80-90% tread, ive done minimal kms on them. Will supply depth measurements soon. Fantastic tyres, they refuse to let go in 1st even with 360kw! (not using the clutch of course), awesome in the wet, paid $450 each for these new!!!

With this combination of offset and tyres Ive never had any dramas with rubbing, and my car has no guard mods whatsoever, still has the liners, and sits very low.

Im asking less that what I paid for the rims alone, $3,000.

Wheels are located in Melbourne's east, and Im more than happy to send these off anywhere, I can offer extremely competitive rates on shipping.

Cheers,

Mat.

I will post up some pics of the rims tomorrow morning.

Also the wheels are currently fit over Alcon 355mm 4Piston brakes, with plenty of clearance radially and heaps of room between the caliper and the spokes of the rim, so 6 piston 365s wont be a drama.

Ok guys here are some up close pics of each wheel:

Also measured the tread depths to the wear bars of each tyre:

3.79mm 3.51mm 3.82mm 3.53mm

and while i was at it, measured the DISH! from the wheel face to the edge of the rim:

85mm!! Over 3 inches!

Also the tyres are NOT 285/35 they are actually 285/30! And the model is NOT Ventus K107, they are Ventus Sport K104! Apologies.

There is one bit of rash on one wheel only :ashamed:

Other than that the other wheels have no marks on them!

Russ I gotta do it, gotta fill the big hole in my account from the new wheels!!!

Thanks for the kinda words Ali, Ill also never forget your ultra-wide 32!

Weekend bump!

Well I know they will definately fit on a 34 GTt...check out WARLORD BAS' D1Rs for sale, theyre the same width and offset as these wheels.

Im not sure how 33 GTSt guards compare to 34s...but you wouldnt be able to use the 285 tyres thats for sure.

With stretched 235s or even 225s (if you use 50 profile tyres), and fairly lipped guards, these would fit and look absolutely insane.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
