So we have the green light from the association to play cricket tomorrow, in confirmed 41 degree heat. we dont get cancelled til 42, which i think is f**king stupid. Last season it was 39, who the f**k thought it was ok to play in 40-41 degrees?

/serious cat.

have fun in the heat Damo....while your doing that i will be lounging around in the pool with a few cc and dry

Epic!

I'm spending tomorrow decorating the shit out of a hotel room I rented for this chicks birthday. I've hired a helium gas cylinder and shit for the balloons... gonna look crazy haha.

off to whyalla tomorow for my first ever drag meet with the 31 cant wait :rant:

Im heading down there tonight to see my old man when is this drag meet on cause i wouldn't mind watching and maybe taking the GTR down the 1/8 mile

Wouldn't Whyalla be hotter than Adelaide? I wouldn't be pushing my car in this heat. But thats just me

Its wishful thinking im already dreading the drive there cause i dont have aircon... besides i dont really want to risk taking it down the strip anyway in case i break it cause then i gotta get it back home again by monday.

mt gambier is a bit cooler and still its farking hot outside....would hate to think what its like in adelaide thank god my flight is a late one and gets into adelaide around 9.30ish things should cool down by then hopefully lol

It's stupidly hot outside at the moment... I'd hate to see temps up north!

yeah always 2 degrees hotter at elizabeth.

Krishy, next 3 days will be 40's, so i doubt it will be much cooler here at night than gambier in the day, haha

I see what you did there

I actually didn't realise I put in a double meaning there  But now that you pointed it out ... I wouldn't be physically pushing any car either

Quite a few cars on the side of the road today! 52mm alloy rad, FMIC and re-gassed air con FTW!!!

who knows their steering wheels?

any reason why the detach hub kit ive got would have the correct bolt pattern on my boss kit side of things, but i go to attach the nardi on the detachable bit and the hole pattern is narrower than the nardi one?

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
