so was 85URK till i explained to him that 10 yrs of advancement in computers meant the PFC is an expensive paper weight. i bet ur glad i talked u out of the PFC now daz??

well i still do like the power fc, they are good for the price etc and do the job but these ecu's have way more tuning capabilties and can be more precise in certian areas. these are the things that swayed me.

also the fact that its plug and play, that was one of the major selling point. i didnt want to have to wire in an ecu.

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
