How many have you got?

Is that $200 for the lot?

Exactly which Dunlops are they?

When were they last used?

Where have they been stored since then?

Can you post up a pic showing the tread condition?

I know it seems like a lot of questions but I looked at buying some not long back and when I saw them they were crap even though advertised as good usable tyres.

Am very interested as I need some before the 8th of November when my next Club Day is scheduled.

Anyone???

Your kidding right??

I have been waiting and waiting for you to come back with the info you said you were getting.

Been to Launnie twice since then, once for a club day.

Your welcome to em Funz.

I'll just buy brand new ones for next year, did a clutch in the GTR on Sunday anyway.

what more info do u want there compound m2r dunlop semi's

they sell for nearly 2g new i want 200 bucks for them they heaps off tread left u there 17's

they come off a front running targa A class car only stopped using them cause he went to 18's done one race meeting i think

there isn't that much difference in a 235 to 245

M2 are a medium compound.

ideal for club days and hill climbs. they would offer exceptional grip in the wet too. not suited for long distance like targa and alike.

i have some that i will be using this weekend and i have used them before.

ive always brought second hand semies and compared to $600 each $50 is cheap. cheaper than you would ever get a set of used road tyres for.

if your to tight to buy $50 tyres for your race car than youll never buy new ones. we flat spotted a brand new one once and it stuffed the tyre $600 good bye.

Who said anything about being to tight to buy second hand tyres?

I ran second hand ones this year while chasing starting tyre pressures and the like. I also knew my alignment wasn't right but until I get some adjustable arms couldnt do anything about it so didnt want to trash new tyres.

I was more than happy to travel down and buy these tyres once I knew what the tyres were. There are 3 different patterns available in the tarmac rally tyres made by Dunlop, I was unable to find any on the Dunlop site in the Semi range in that size.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
