Drivers Side Power Window Relay

Hey guys, I've been looking over the tutorial section thread here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3....html&st=20

Now I've taken the door apart and found that I can manually press the contact on the relay and my window will go down, but using the switch won't make it go down. I can hear it clicking, but no go.

Someone in that thread mentioned the same problem, and that he filed the contact points... is that really as simple as it sounds? Should I get some sandpaper or similar and file/sand the contact points of the mechanism?

It seems pretty fragile so I want to be careful poking around there... has anyone else done this or something similar?

Hahahaha yeah, mine's still doing it, and we're expecting a few days worth of rain here in Brissy... so I'm not even tempted to fiddle with it at the moment, because it's UP at the moment! Don't wanna tempt fate...
