events section

myn isnt so much of an idea, but when i go into the events section i notice alot of the things are sticky, mainly nsw events, now for eg when i had the bbq, it was like 3 threads from bottom when last posted at... because of sticky thread, and i mean like, on the screen as you see it, now maybe i could be wrong, but the event info should be at the top because people giev interest, not because its made sticky, i just think its a little biased... thats all..

We make things sticky when its requested. If you PM'd one of the mods and requested to have your thread made sticky - it'd be done.

i have an idea...

events section for each state rather than one. could be wrong but I dont know if there is much point in having one big section. If there ever is a nation wide event it could just be posted in each state its applicable too?

Dear Boxhead, thanks for your inimitable comments. I thought that would be pretty obvious to request a "sticky". I will amend the announcement. I don't make everything "sticky" as there would be no point.

It is NOT biased. I "sticky" things that look like large events or that I know will be a big turnout. Sorry if I overlooked you BBQ.

nah like, im just saying that some events might not get a big turnout because of they would be at the bottom of teh screen.. i wasnt just saying myn should be sticky...

it just looks biased its ok, i wasnt like upset or anything ok, i was just curious...

coz everytime i go in to look for events for qld people, ii have to scroll down to see.
