Hey guys, ive just bought my auto s1 r33 gtst pretty happy with the performance

and handling. But theres an issue with the top radiator hose being compressed

after driving. Is this an issue or is it normal? I normally have to top it up with about

250ml of water. any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

if it is compressing once the car cools then it sounds like your cap isn't doing it's job properly, or there is a blockage in the hose that runs to the resevouir, or gunk at the bottom of the resevouir that is blocking the hole when it tries to suck coolant back in.

yeah replaced it with a genuine nissan one now its not compressed, great. but i still

have to top it up with about 250 ml of coolant! damn i dont know where its leaking

from ive checked under the car while its running cant see anything. Could it be

leaking into my engine? man that would make me pissed.

replace radiator cap sounds like its not operating properly should be a cheap fix

didnt help when my top radiator hose was leaking coolant, when i was replacing the hose

i noticed the inlet was a bit corroded and have a brown residue. Why is this? I flushed the radiator

put new coolant hope this helps my engine.
