Replacing A Series 1 Diff With A Series 2

Hey..

My question is

Can i fit a R33 series 2 diff in to my series 1 R33.

I ask because of the ASB on the series 2.

And no ABS on mine.

My R33 is auto and it is a auto series 2 diff i want to replace it with.

Please guys only answer if ya know the answer..

Maybe any ideas will help..

It's only a sensor for the ABS on the diff. If you have no ABS to connect it to, then I can't see it being a problem.

wrong, ABS diff is longer, will not fit. There are many Series II with no ABS as well.
