Topic: Ec Twilight 17.02.10 - $1200 Worth Of Prize Money, Timing, Drinks And More...

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

The EC Twilight events have become of interest of late and just wanted to give you a heads up on an event on the 17th Feb

$1,200 of prizes on the table from RDA, EBC and Sureflo Perfromane Exhaust (and no i do not work for any of those companies) for things like fastest lap and specific classes - coupe, sedan, hatch, etc.

More information is on the epcc.net.au website.

Have some friends which drive in the series and with it now open to JDM and Aussie cars should be really exciting this year – from behind the steering wheel or from both pit wall

See you trakside thumbsup.gif

If you just want the track time (without the EPCC stuff), it is $295 to book it through Circuit Club.

I'm thinking about it, I've never had a proper run on EC.

$345 entry????

Yes its $345...those JPM photo's you get included are expensive apparently.

Also Kumho and FSport are sponsoring the series too - which means 10% off all tyres / race seats / suits / helmets and they are also putting down $200 for one of the classes at each event - prize pool is now up to $1400 :P (from looking on the site)

So if my maths isn't out - max you could win on the day is $600?

Not a bad day at the office if you have some car control skills :D

    • I think he was only proposing to use the wire, not the sender. Simply because it runs from the right place to the right place. Personally, I wouldn't hack up the factory wiring like that. I'd just lay in the Defi loom.
    • From memory it wasn't too hard to simply see which wire ran where when you plug that in. Unfortunately also from memory the OEM sender does not use the same configuration 99.9% of gauges run. So in other words if you connect the signal wire that was running to the OEM gauge to your DEFI gauge you might find your oil reads at 200C or some other incorrect value. I remember having the same line of thought and then running new wires/senders to match the gauges I have. The pinout is available in the R34 workshop manual.
    • Does anyone on here know which wire on the GTT triple gauge pod harness is for the oil temp gauge? my sensor works fine but I upgraded the gauges to DEFI advance. And if I can simply piggyback off the oem oil temp wire to the Defi oil temp sensor wire that would make life so much easier.
