Defi Link And Gauges Question

just wondering if anybody knows whether or not the defi link version 1 and 2 are universal for all defi linkable gauges?

Because i may need to get a new defi controller, my gauges are flashing red twice @ 1 second intervals which seem to mean that there is no communication to the controller. I have the version 1 controller and it doesn't light up but the gauges do light up and they don't do the opening/closing ceremony or read any values (just sit there dead)

which version of defi gauges do you have?

yeah you should be able to run older defi link BF or defi link gauges that you used with a type 1 controller with a new type 2 controller. if you want to be sure try and find someone with a type 2 controller and plug in one of your gauges and see if it works. I run the type 2 controller and defi link BF gauges in the GTR but not much good to you I guess being in sydney.
