Might wanna go a bit smaller if you're gonna stretch like drift style...

9.5" rim = 235mm, so youd need a tyre narrow-er than 235mm. a 255mm tyre on a 9.5" is actually a good fit, but wont look stretched at all.

likewise for the front, 8.5" = 208mm, so something smaller than 208mm

i'd suggest either going smaller wheels, maybe 7.5" on the front, and 8.5" on the back.

as for tyres, if you want bulk stretch, try 190s on the front and 205s on the back (using your size wheels).

good luck tho, sounds like a good plan, stretch would look mad with an s15!

firstly ditch your 19" because no stretch will ever look good on a 19" rim. also think about your profiles, you wanna stretch a profile (30-35) that is so small it would look like your tires are naturally flat.

get yourself some proper jap rims 17 or 18. depending on your car go for width 9" + wide.

no smaller then 9" start with a 215 on the 9" like astro said. if you go bigger increase your tire by 1 size will give you a nice finished product.

i dunno man, these rims are bigger than 19s and this 'stretch' looks good (IMO)

i dont think stretch would look good on rays GTVs if they look anything like this

especially not 19s too.

as dave said, go something 17/18 and a tyre about 20-40mm smaller than the 9" (230mm), and have a profile of like 40-50% otherwise itll look to flat.

7.5" rims... you might aswell go to bob jane and get some of their specials on 19" chromies bro

i have 17 x 8's on the front like alot of people with 215/45's and there is a little bit of stretch, not he-man stretch though

Why would you say that?... You asked for advice, all he did was make a suggestion and you tell him that he doesn't know what he is talking about?

The bottom line here is that there is little to no performance benefit in stretching narrow tyres on to wide rims...

If you want traction, go for the manufacturers recommendation for the width of wheel that you have (as they do a lot more testing on their own tyres than anyone else does)...

For example: 19 x 8.5" = 235/35R19 or 245/35R19 and 19 x 9.5" = 255/30R19 or 265/30R19 - these sizes would be just about perfect (depending on the brand of tyre).

If you want the stretched look then just down size from the sizes listed as manufacturers recommendation by 1 or 2 widths.

But be careful running over stretched tyres though, it puts a lot more stress on the sidewalls and can easily damage the tyre, cause the bead to be pulled off the rim, a blow out or delamination.

Also, it's a good idea to check with your insurance provider about what their policies are before fitting tyres, because if your tyres don't match their policies then you won't be covered if you have an accident.

BTW - Yes, I do work for a national tyre distributor and have done for quite a few years and I do know what I am talking about.

fck, shoot me, i made a bad call

couldve just been like "nah man 7.5 is too narrow for any performance car" but nah, had to be a keyboard warrior and flame me etc...

anyway enough of the winging...

xxx200, that EMS you sold me a few months ago is working a treat! got it installed and tuned bout 6 weeks ago!

i have 19x8 and 19x9 work vs-kf rims on my 34 and i run 225/35/19 and 235/30/19 respectively they have a lil stretch and look good

btw 19s r not very good for driving fast around corners

i run pirelli corsa tyres

      Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!

      Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that

      Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

      What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
