scotty nm35
so will the pop charger be ok on my car? scotty you dont think so? I have one stupid aftermarket tube here I removed off a 350z, you can have it if you like. I had to pry the afm out of the silicone they glued it in with. Replaced it with the stock airbox and piping. My point is, the stock airbox flows more than well enough, and the Ztube is just a piece of pipe. Keep what you have, it flows just as well, if not better, without the downsides of a pod. If you want intake noise, save an mp3 of a Lambo V12 and play it while you drive. _thom_
I'd be inclined to say there is a performance decrease. Atleast there was when I used a K&N cone filter (according to my butt-dyno ) Our engine bays run hot so heat-soak is a major concern. If you're more after noise, then get something like this: http://www.soundracer.se/?p=98 Otherwise you could get a pod filter that fits into the stock airbox.
