Mines ECU

My R32gtst has a Mines chipped ECU, which came with the car when I imported it directly. I want some general information about the Mines and have tried to search, but can't find anything (derr...).

Can somebody give me a site to go to, or thread please?

mines mod ecus for specific mods that people want like one with a aftermarket IC or a full exhuast or both or more...usally they also have a speed cut removal etc. They are know to run abit rich so best to check it on a dyno to see how they are running.

they also coat their chips in an epoxy resin, thereby making it nearly (read totally) impossible to re-chip. They are usually tuned for jap fuel so run rich. i think zoom (or hpI) did a chip comparison and found that on their particular test engine the mines had the lowest power figure.

Need to watch those Mines Ecu's. I've seen a few cars start to do weird things and it was always the ecu failing. I know of two cars that went better with the factory ecu when they replaced them...
