Hi guys, I have 2 pieces of motoring goodness for sale/swap here. I am ideally after a 350z/EvoMR but throw me an offer and I will consider it.

Ok so heres the car.

Its a 2003 FPV GT with the 4 spd sequential gearbox (much stronger than the 5spd man). These are equipped with a 5.4L Quad Cam BOSS V8 made here in aus which makes 290kw from factory. The car comes with full stamped log books and spare keys. Currently sitting on 83000kms.

It is Blood Orange in colour (factory paint) and has been kept fairly standard except for a few minor additions.

*Torque Gas Vapour injected dual fuel system. The car is able to run on petrol or LPG gas with no loss in power. A full tank of LPG costs about $25 to fill up and i get roughly 260km around the city. (roughly $10 per 100kms, bargain!)

*Fusion Powerplant subwoofer + Auxiliary/IPOD connection for the stereo

*Tow bar rated to 1600kg

*Factory window tint - Darkest Legal

*Full stripe kit with cobra stripes

The car has long rego till February next year, and has been kept in very good condition both inside and out. Now the negatives:

*The starter button is broken. It costs $200 to replace but I haven't had the time to do it.

*There are a couple of chips in the windscreen due to a recent trip down to melbourne

*there are a couple of small scratches on the right hand side of the front bumper

These can all be factored into the final deal.

The car has never missed a beat. Its got a very strong motor and is very comfortable to drive, great for someone looking to get into a bigger/family orientated car.

And now the Ninja!

Its a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja zx636r. This is the very last model the 636's came in. For those who ride and know about bikes, the zx636r has always had positive reviews, winning best in class out of the 600s for the 2005 year.

Motor is a 636cc 4 cylinder with EFI. Comes with all basic features new super sports bikes have such as lap timer, electronic fuel gauge, but also features a digital tacho and speedo, and currently sits on 13800kms

Has quite a few mods on it:

*Powercommander III

*Muzzy's undertail pipe + control unit

*Single seat cowl

*Gold braided brake lines f+r (with sleeves)

*Brand new Pirelli Diablo tyres, have just been run in

*Tinted double bubble windscreen

*Pazzo short gold levers

*No cut crash knobs

*Tank protector

*Gold rear spools

*Brand new battery

Bike also has long rego till February next year, and comes with all spare keys. The only negative is I dont have the log books for it, however the condition of the bike speaks for itself and is testament to the kms done.

Ok now the financials. I'm currently after $28 500 for the car and $9 500 for the bike. Both are slightly negotiable within reason.

I have stated that i am interested in a trade. Depending on the condition and value of the car for trade we can work out a price however as a guide, i will consider straight swaps with low KM, very clean Evo 8 MR's and 2005 Track 350z's.

Any other offers/questions please don't hesitate to ask me. I work full time however if i dont answer the phone feel free to sms me and i will return your call when i can.

Both items are located in Sydney, NSW.

John - 0431 083 394.

    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
    • Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely a coolant push. Oil catch can is empty and always has been. As the engine is out now I'll be having a good look over things. I do have some detonation on the piston tops from a trigger issue back about 5 years ago. I felt it and shut off then bought a new ecu and changed the trigger. Never been an issue since. It never hurt the power, its made almost 80hp more since that incident but I will pull the bearing caps to take a look. If the bearings are damaged I will do a bottom end refresh. Head is being re conditioned at the moment and the block will be cleaned and checked to ensure it's flat. I'll go with a kameari gasket and see how it ends up. The other thing I'm not super keen on is the cylinder colours. I suspect this is from the inlet manifold. The plan will be to put it back together, retune and then stick a plazmaman billet inlet on it and retune. I'm happy with the power, if it makes a little more, then great, but I would rather just make everything more efficient at this stage.
    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
    • Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z
