Good day all,

I have for sale a GENUINE made in Japan Impul sides and rear bar for a R34. We all know that genuine kits don't come by so often and a quick search on the word Impul kit will show that the last time a genuine Impul kit was sold around 2 years ago (April 2008 see link below)

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ge...ml&hl=impul

It took me close to one year just to search for both the sides and rear. Anywho, please find attached pics. The first few pics are a reference pics (with owner's permission except for the yellow 34 as i'm unable to track the owner) on how the Impul kit will look on your 34. The rest are the actual pictures of the sides and rear respectively.

Now for the fine details :

1. The sides and rear is a genuine kit (see pic and Impul logo on kit)

2. Both kits are in very good conditions even though they are second hand (see pictures – if you need more pics please PM me and I'll grab some 5 megapixel pics for you)

3. The kit is made of high quality fibreglass hence I bought it the first place. I've asked around and there's no plastic kit ever made by Impul for this bodykit. Rest assure that you don't need to mould / putty it to fit into the car. Both kits came off directly from a R34 with a perfect fit I should say.

4. Kit will only fit a R34 2 door series

5. Side skirts are yellow in colour and rear bar is white in colour

6. I am located in Perth, South of the River and viewing is available for Perth residents. Please don't rock up without prior notice as I have a vicious dog at site and I won't be able to guarantee your safety if you climb into the place for a peek at the kit.

7. Would prefer to sell to Perth residents but I'm open to buyers from interstate. Buyer will be paying for shipping charges. I recommend Air Road Direct as they cover up to $1000 in damage(s) during transit and you will get the items within 7 days. I've used them about 4 times now for interstate shipping and no complains so far.

8. At this stage I would prefer not to split the kit up. Besides, why would you split this as I reckon the rear and sides line up nicely and looks great (see pic #1) but hey each to its own I suppose.

9. Impul's website for the R34 is http://www.impul.co.jp/products/complete/r34.skyline.htm

After a rough conversion on the website, you will notice the sides and rear alone will come close to $AUD 2,200 excluding shipping. I had a quote a year ago by a freight forwarder back when the yen was trading at 75 cents to one aud dollar and shipping will be approx $AUD 700ish and after you add in commissions, gst, storage / handling fees and customs handling fees you will be looking at close to $AUD 3,300 or more landed in Australia.

Anyway, enough of the above as I don't want to spice the kit up as if it's a god-like kit. For those of you that have seen an Impul kit in person, you will appreciate the beauty and clean look of it on the 34.

I'll be selling both the sides and rear at a realistic $AUD 950 ONO. Please bear in mind a fibreglass copy sells for around $AUD 1,000 and a quick search on SAU will reveal the problems of flexing, extra molding and labour required to fit off-market fibreglass kit.

PM me if you need more info.

if you ever decide to split the kit

ill take the side skirts.

Any rough idea how much shipping would be to NSW 2745?

if you cant find out thats fine.

hi mate

at this stage i'll prefer to sell the whole kit as a whole but i'll keep you notified if someone decided to get the rear by itself.

i'd say shipping to the eastern states for the sides will be under $200 - was around $175 last time for me via air road direct

Hey Gene,

How's are things ? Took me about 1 yr plus tolook for em but priorities in life changed so i need to sell em now. Thought you already have the Impul on yr car why would you need another set ?

Shipping can be a pain, i paid close to $ 450 just to get them shipped to me from 2 different states hence the white and yellow colour. So any local buyer will def save in terms of postage if you ask me

    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
