Hey guys as stated, I regret to do this, and it will be a sad day when I part with this beautiful machine, but I am selling my Nissan Stagea.

SO here are the specs guys and girls

1999 NISSAN STAGEA RS4s (thats right! it's the sport model!)

Body - 5 Door Wagon

Engine - RB25DET Neo (standard with 206kw)

Gearbox - 5 Speed manual AWD (can disconnect driveshaft and make it RWD)

Km's - about 130 000! - bought at 98 000km's, has had 100 000km service using only the best oils, belts and fiddly bits! and since owning it I have paid meticulous attention to this car, servicing it every 5000kms with new oil, filter, and plugs.

I bought it from Newcastle off a Private importer, as it came with 6 months rego included, I had to get it roadworthy'd in queensland, all that was wrong with it, was rear tyres, cv boots and tie rod ends. Other than that, she was all good.

I have replaced the exhaust manifold gasket myself (with the help of a mechanic friend of course).

It has a fujitsubo 3" cat back exhaust on it, but I have since made it a full turbo-back 3" system with hi-flow cat

It has a t-piece boost controller on it and it runs a nice 10psi of boost (comes on nice and strong!)

I just had new bonnet struts (thats right BONNET struts) put in, as the old ones gave in a little while ago.

It has Xenon headlights as standard and it has a control in the car which you can move them up and down.

I purchased a set of 18" rims for the car last year, they fit the car very nicely, they will come with it or if someone wants to buy these separate they can, currently it has the original 16" rims that I bought it with, with brand new tyres on it (less than 2000km's)

The interior is very tidy, and the front seats are just awesome, nice and comfy, yet hold you in nicely at the same time.

It has a pioneer head unit, with direct ipod input (control it via the head unit) and also an aux in on the front. This is hooked up to 2 awesome 6.5" response splits in the front, and 2 6" coaxials in the rear doors, it is pretty nice and loud for what it is, I can even include an amp and some other audio goodies if wanted.

the boot of the wagon has enough space to fit a football team in the back! it even has 2 latches at the back to put down the front seats (very handy ingenious little idea by nissan)

This car has honestly been the best car I have ever owned, never gives me trouble, and it doesnt go too bad on the fuel if you dont hammer it everywhere. around town about 450km's to the tank (65L) and roughly 620km's out on the highway.

This car is located in CAIRNS, NTH QLD. and can be viewed any time, just give me a call on my mobile 0421 145 382 or write me an email [email protected]

I am asking for $16 000 ono.$15,500ono!!!! comes with rego til aug '10. and i can get a rwc. Please no time wasters, only serious buyers thanks.

    • Small update for the day... Turns out the intercooler and engine coolant hose kits are anything but complete....I probably should have counted better but it only really covers about half the coolant hoses in the car, it really just covers the visible stuff and pretends everything else doesn't exist (turbo water feed and returns and also heat exchanger lines through the 2 pumps and cooler) .In any case, I'm happier to have half reliable hoses than none, but a bit of a disappointment. Anyway...finger click (and 5 hours).....hoses in place, lots of spring clamps replaced with screw clamps, and engine coolant is on the pressure tester for the night.   Incidentally, upsized header tank is an Inifiniti factory option....not sure I'll ever do prod car racing in this but at least it is legal.
    • Just weld it onto the hot pipe. If you want it right after the turbo, put it right after the turbo. Or rip the comp cover off and drill and tap a hole into it.
    • hahaha glad I can rely on you two to go on a spiral at the drop of a problem! Some quick answers....the ducting is excellent top bottom and sides....everything that gets in goes through the coolers (noting the oil cooler redirects it out again, fair call if it is cooling 120o+) and the heat exchanger for the intercooler also has some scoops to pick up more than it's fair share too. I can't see going down the water spray track....no bueno for formal racing and a big risk for long rally days if you run out (plus I'm not clear if it is allowed there either yet).   Frankly, it must be possible to reliably put 400kw through a standard front end, the BMWs do it so I just need to work it out....I'm starting with reducing blockages in the way and adding some coolant capacity with a bigger header tank, flushing rad and making sure it was filled/bled properly (I didn't do the last coolant change); also taken measurements incase next step is a bigger/higher capacity custom radiator
    • wow, a completely stock GTR! I've got to admit, I have no idea from what you are describing....do you have  any idea where the "thump" comes from, and are you certain it is the HICAS light not something else like the cat overheat light?
    • nice work, welcome to the world of CAD! fabricating accurately in 3 dimensional space is beyond me....I almost always end up making something more than once...sorry I mean I extensively use prototyping
