Hey guys/gals,

For Sale is my 1996 Nissan Skyline R33 Series II GTR, this is easily one of the cleanest and quickest GTR’s going around. The colour of the car is black making it stand out with yellow number plates GTR-53X included, the car is a head turner everywhere you go, yet subtle enough to avoid police attention.

Car is in mint condition in and out, Paint is still in excellent original condition with no dents or dings, engine is A1 mechanical

Car has been tuned from previous owner and is producing 404hp at all four wheels on 4 different levels of boost settings. The Boost can be adjusted through the digital boost controller, it’s as easy as turning the knob from channel 1 to 2, 3 or 4, so if you want more power just turn the knob to desired channel. Boost can be changed from standard boost (11PSI) up to 20PSI and is done so on a very safe tune.

This is a regretful Sale and im sad to see it go, but i need to focus on other commitments as im looking into buying a house, so unfortunately my baby must go. Come see before you buy elsewhere, you will not be disappointed, first to see will buy guaranteed!

These two things simply do not match up - pretty sure bank won't accept SUV/cruisy car as a house deposit :)

Nice looking car, but really Street legal??? you have ADR compliance for varying boost levels?

a20089: I got pulled over by kings cross highway patrol a few weeks back and they didn't get me for anything! They checked inside and outside of my car, tyres etc engine bay and nothing was defected. they tried to get me for having my boost gauge mounted to my dash, however im training to be a police officer and told them that the gauge is fine as its not in the crumple zone and is mounted to the dash under the highest point of the dash.

The Boost Controller is well hidden. They didn't find it. Never had a problem with police with it.

ian_and1: Sweet hope yours sells soon then because i want this going to an appreciative buyer.

Haha, Didn't find it does not mean street legal, I could have booked you for your externally vented oil lines as well.

I think the car is well worth the money looking at it, but I don't want to see someone purchase a car based on what is clearly not the truth.

Good luck with the sale

If the buyer really wants to they can take off the oil breathers or use the hose im providing and reconnect the standard PCV valve setup and its all good. the car also comes with a stock exhaust muffler to tip with 2 bolt flange which i had made up just incase police want to get smart on how loud it is.

But like i have said i have been pulled over before and no dramas. Every car even stock comes out with something you can defect (tints, seatbelts, water in windscreen jets, worn steering wheels practically anything they want... even if its just "non standard" they can try get you for) Im saying that whoever buys this car will NOT have a drama with authorities. Like i haven't.

But thanks for the compliment and i know its worth the money.... just wish someone who will look after it will come along and take it... sad to see it go but i have other plans.

Cheers

    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
