Crunch Into 2nd From 3rd And From 1st Into 2nd

Hey guys just got me a 32 with a registered rb25 in it and the only problem im havin is 2nd gear. It crunches when changin from 3rd in to 2nd too fast and the same from 1st to 2nd. Any ideas.? Cheers

Change the gearbox fluid and check how much metal shavings are on the gearbox sump plug, might want to try Redline Shockproof as it does wonders for gear crunching

sounds like the syncros are gone

are you fully engaging clutch when changing?

also, as mentioned above try redline shockproof, very good stuff man. my friends got it in his 180, he had grinds between shifts before he changed it, thats all gone now though.

Thanks guys for ur help! Much appriciated as i said in my newbie intro im pretty new to the forum as i just got my wepon.! (R32 gts-t bayside blue 4 door with a registered RB25DET approx 110,000kms on motor and 130,000kms on the chasis) But yeah im gonna change the box fluid to redline shockproof for sure.! Its makin 196.7RWKW btw ppl i was recently drivin a stock VL commodore so its a pretty big difference in power there.! again thanks for ur support fellas.!
