OK, got to clear out the garage, so need to get rid of a few things.

First up is a set of (4) NISMO LMGT4 GT500 Limited Edition wheels with centre caps. They are matt black in colour and quite rare, quite a bit more expensive than the normal LMGT4's too.

They are in very good condition, although 2 of the wheels have some minor scratches. There is no damage to the wheel in regards to gouging, just surface scratches that have taken off the paint (check out pics). They have Bridgestone RE55S tyres (type SR) in 265/35/18, tyres have around 50-60% left on them, good for a few track days or normal street driving. Wheels are located in Bayswater, but will ship at buyer's expense.

PRICE: $4200 ono

PICS:

Second up is a Nismo circuit link set to suit an R33 GT-R. This consists of:

- Front lower control arms

- Front castor rods

- Front upper control arms

- Rear lower control arms

- Rear upper control arms

In very good condition, has the usual scratches/chips as they came off a car.

Items located in Bayswater, and again will ship interstate at buyer's expense.

Will take pics in the next couple of days as they are in storage.

PRICE: $1100 ono

That's it for now, PM or reply here if interested.

Low ballers will be ignored.

Cheers,

Jack

Oh, and here's what they look like on the car from side on.

Would have kept them although I have another set in 18 x 10.5, not GT500 version though.

Edit: oops, they are the 10.5'' version (gloss black with no centre caps).

Will see if i can dig up another photo with the rims that are for sale....

Hi Ash,

The rims I have for sale are 9.5'' wide, the 10.5'' version is not for sale.

Sorry, won't let them go for $3700.

Cheers,

Jack

They are matt black in colour and quite rare

understatement of the year me thinks, these are very rare.

Display1, snap up the 9.5's - great buy with some great tyres too

out of interest are the gt500 limited lighter than a normal lm gt4? i always thought they where forged mag

As far as I know they are not forged magnesium, also known as LMGT4 MAG they are super rare and dear as poison.

The ones I have are forged monoblock design.

Cheers,

Jack

Bloody awesome wheels. I have the exact same GT500 in gunmetal gloss. I have to say I was really tempted to buy these as a spare set when I saw it now. Good price as well.. Goodluck!

what information can you give me about the nismo links

Sorry, Nismo circuit link set is now SOLD.

Wheels are still available...

If these are still for sale in 2 weeks I'll take them but I won't have the money til then =(. Look awesome though.

No worries Dave, if they are still around they're all yours!!!

Still for sale....

:(

Nice wheels Jack, did you buy these off Tangomatt? I would be tempted if I didn't already have a set of regular lmgt4's. GL with the sale.. these are rather rare wheels, and full of RAYS forged monoblock goodness :D

ps. i want your alcons

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
