how big is the standard m35 steering wheel

in reference to a cover

Size: S (steering wheel major diameter 36 - 37.5cm)

M (steering wheel major diameter 37.5 - 39cm)

L (steering wheel major diameter 39.5 - 41cm

which one would it be?

It's leather, why cover it up? Or do you mean for when it's parked?

Why on the subject of M35 steering wheels, has anyone had one recovered in leather in the sydney region? I've got on to a mob called The Leather Doctor that I will get a quote from when I'm ready, I was just going to get the wheel redyed and protected but I discovered some damage to the centre area where it meets the airbag module. It's obviously been rubbing against it and it's broken the leather in a small area. So looks like a complete recover for me :D Maybe I get it in wine red leather with black stitching.

surely someone can answer this?

Diameter is 365mm, but the std leather wrap is a pretty good look, those wheel covers are big step backwards if you ask me...

Still if we all liked the same thing, everybody would be driving Stageas, and who wants that?

I was going to say something similar but was afraid I would offend :P

So I refrained, but walked away wondering why you would cover such an item of beauty with a cover that belongs on a nasty factory wheel!

BTW, I believe Black Needle Upholstery, out in Penrith will also recover a steering wheel for a fairly reasonable price. I only say this because most trimmers refuse to do steering wheels.

Cheers, Dale

    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
