R32 Hicas Question

Hicas in my 32 has been removed & fitted with a lock bar, That's all well & good, But the steering feels a bit heavy for what power steering should be like, May be me being paranoid but I've drove a 32 before & the steering wasn't like this, There's an ecu for the hicas under the parcel shelf in the boot, I checked mine & the whole unit isn't there but the 2 plugs are, Wondering if the ecu was plugged back in will the steering maybe lighten up as it may be throwing the steering way out?

without that the hicas ecu, the speed sensitive steer won't work, you need to reinstall it, and cut one wire that make's the hicas light

on the dash come on, think's it's green with a white trace..

Spot on with what you've said, I borrowed a friends ecu & it worked fine ..& yup it's the smaller plug in the ecu & the green wire with white line ..
