Hank Scorpio
No I don't sorry, I usually get trade price as I use him through work. Maybe ~$200 for the set? Guess it would depend on paint colour, existing damage, etc. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/326526-rim-painters/#findComment-5315467 Share on other sites

3LGODZILA
are they nice jap rims or just cheap ones? and how much do u wanna spend? personally if they're a nice set of rims and u dont wanna skip on quality powdercoat them for a few hundred dollars i wouldnt pay a few hundred just to paint them, paint scratches easily, a good quality paint wont scratch as easily but if its gonna cost you a few hundred dollars thats round about the same price to powdercoat them. i painted my stockies with a very cheap brand spray can (primer then gloss black) about a year ago and they're still fine today no chips no faded paint its still surprisingly good haha and i wash the car regularly and drive it daily, and the best part about this way is it'll cost you $5, if u do hit a gutter or something u can always touch it up with the leftovers in the can using a brush and if u dont like how it looks just rub it down with thinners. stormtrooper
Did some calling around myself a few weeks ago regarding this, this was probably the best I came up with: Diamond Powder Coaters 2/51 Division St, Welshpool WA 6106 - (08) 9258 4355 Guy I spoke to was called Martin Said that for $50 a rim they do: sandblast rim, primer and topcoat/powdercoat Going to be getting my existing Advan AVS's done if the car doesn't sell in the next 2 weeks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/326526-rim-painters/#findComment-5321268 Share on other sites

stormtrooper
Yeah they can do fluro colours, but you lose like 98234653458973489578934758834758978973489573489 street cred, may aswel install neons and hugs subs and go hang out with triple-d Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/326526-rim-painters/#findComment-5322504 Share on other sites

Topaz
I'm seriously thinking of getting my 5Zigens powder coated in jet black! Just need to find a *good* set of 255/40 18" tyres to match. I am not liking my current Yokos Edited July 1, 2010 by Topaz Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/326526-rim-painters/#findComment-5323626 Share on other sites
