I'm looking at getting back into a skyline and am very interested in an 06 or 07 V35 coupe manual...hopefully the right one will pop up soon and i have the finances...prices at auctions look good, hopefully the aussie dollar can rise some more and make it a bit better :)

apart from interior/dash centre console design update, and optional Bose comes with MD player not Casette anymore (although kind of useless, Sony MD format never really picks up as a mainstream media), and the Navi panel features CARWINGS, which again is useless because CARWINGS only works in Japan (like a road assist / info program) nothing else different to the early V35.

Of course price is still up there as they're newer cars with on average less km travelled compared to the early ones.

Oh, the engine will still be VQ35DE like the early models. Don't compare it to USA's Infiniti G35 spec because in the JDM model the 06-07 model does not get the VQ35HR engine upgrade. So if there is any dealers out there advertising their 06/07 V35 Skyline with 'updated engine or 232kw', they're either lying or have no idea what they're talking about, or the car has been modified/engine swap which basically they're not suppose to be complied.

So Basically there is no real difference between buying a 2003 and a 2006 V35?

Its not like buying say an r33 where there were actual differences between models?

From what i understand the only difference is the headlights and the interior stuff that was mentioned before...and also most, if not all, the electrical bugs and that have been fixed... one of the reasons why i want one

    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
