chaos
I was just curious bout the jap language. Is it easy to learn or what? I've decided to go to tafe and always wanted to learn a language and thought japanese would be a good one to learn. So will it be hard or easy or inbetween i know it would mainly depend on me and weather i will pick it up or not but any help is good. Rezz
Just remember Ben, it's all dependent on your attitude... if you *really* believe you'll benifit personally by learning Japanese, and you won't be afraid to concienciously make mistakes (because you don't know how to say it exactly in Japanese, but want to express yourself), then you're on the right track. Parag0n
I'm going to Japan in April, I studied it in High school for 3 years, I know the basics mainly but nothing to advanced Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/32845-language/#findComment-659402 Share on other sites
Rezz
...but Japanese is damn difficult sometimes. Kanji for me is the most challenging. Of course that means reading is difficult too, but when you do learn something useful, it's soooooooo satisfying. akeenan
im with rezz. if you are interested in it and really want to learn it you will be alright. caution: be prepared to make many mistakes and be prepared for japanese people to look confused and sometimes laugh when you are learning/ speaking with them. supahiro27
Totally, I am 100% with Rezz. I lived in Japan for a while and learnt Nihongo pretty quickly, but that is because I was tough on myself and only hung out with native Japanese speakers and learnt Kanji everyday. Easy to get in the foreigner groove and loose focus, but when you get it going, it is really awesome to be drinking and having a blast with locals. Be persistent!!! my 2c Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/32845-language/#findComment-659742 Share on other sites
