If the spacers you are running have the little lip they wont fit on standard Nissan rims.

I had some bolt on spacers and R32 gtst rims wouldnt fit.

I just modified the spacer to fit.

To be honest i would stay away from floating spacers.

No lip, they're flat

Trouble is, there aren't any bolt on 3 or 5mm. They are all floating and have 77mm or bigger ID's.

Designed to fit all cars / universal.

I wish someone would make them model specific.

Even hub rings won't work with a 3 or 5mm, hub rings are tapered and thicker.

I guess you just visually centre them.

I might accurately mark the mount of my wheels and stick the spacers to the wheels, then have them balanced.

I'm also going to grind away my Upper Control Arms a bit for extra clearance, depending on how tight it is, I might not need the spacers.

18 9.5 +30 hits on full lock on R33 GTS-T , 5mm spacer clears UCA with about 2-3mm

I'm thinking 3mm spacer and a shave.

I see why most people don't like them though.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
