Hey guys,

I tried using the search bar, but could not find any related threads, so either I'm retarded or there aren't any. Im thinking its the former over the latter. I have got my SII R33 GTST in compliance at the moment in Adelaide. We have gone through what needs to be dome (roadworthy wise) and they started physically working on it last Tuesday. I was wondering, how long roughly should it take to get the core of compliance done? Obviously there are other things that need to be done, specific to the vehicle, but roughly how long can i expect to wait?

Anyway it will take anywhere from one to three weeks but this will depend on if the shop is busy, parts,etc

You can be a little impatient when you are waiting for a new car...

Ahaha yeah, it feels like its taking forever. Iv'e been doing the process since February, thats when i started searching for it lol. But shouldn't be too much longer now, im very keen. And yes, pictures will be up asap!

Mine took about 2.5 weeks. All up from when I purchased it in Japan at auction to now when it's been issued a RWC today has taken a touch under 3 months. Pretty much the same as the last car I imported.

honestly, how long is a piece of string? I've seen it done as fast as a few days and as slow as 18 months. my guess is yours will be somewhere in between.

one piece of advice. don't call them everyday asking how it's going. they will call you as soon as it's done. trust me. they want to get paid. at most call them once a week if you absolutely must. any more than that will just give them the shits and possibly mean they take a few extra days just to annoy you.
