R34 Gtr Running R33 Ecu

in the pursuit of getting better fuel economy out of my gtr i have discovered that my gtr is running a r33 ECU using a harness that changes all the pinouts so it can run. When connecting a factory r34 gtr ECU... the car will not turn over... figured the problem would be the NATS system. have taken the car too northside nissian to try and get the new ecu too consult with the keys, but no success.

have also tried Power FC yet having the same problem of not being able to get it too turn over.

have also tried using a r32gtr ecu and was able to get it running on that using the harness.

Was able to get a r34gtr Mines ecu running (for a second) on the factory ecu harness by removing the pinout "recieve control unit data reception", but engine was cut after turning over.

Basically stuck for answers as to why the factory components of this car arent working, and just want to get it running on the either the factory r34 ecu or the power fc. otherwise my only option will be a nistune r32 ecu.

help appreciated

Using the correct FC. 414an028. gtr BNR34.

Pretty sure its a issue with the NATs system, and the the 33 ecu is being used because it does not require communication with NATs to run. just cant figure what exactley is the problem.

Believe the CAS wiring was changed around. I havent worked with the R34 GTR computers first hand but some workshops have run R34 GTR with R32 GTR ECU (to use nistune board)

NATS is contained within the ECU itself. It just receives a signal from the IMMU with the key code and determines if a match (or not)

Not sure about the coilpacks. Would think that it wouldn't make too much difference...?

Also have thought about the Crank angle sensors. Pins may have been swapped. I will give it a check. But because the r33 ecu is using a loom from the factory plug to the Ecu... I would think the there wires would be switched in that.

Also pretty sure there is a unit for the NATS in between the ignition and the ecu.
