Noob Needs Call Pack Advice

Hi

I need to replace the coil packs on a series 2 R33, I spoke to a reputable tuning mechanic in Brisbane.

He says only splitfires are the way to go, yellow jackets and the "red ones" are crap according to him and need ot be replaced all the time.

This advice seems to completely contradict the success a lot of people here have had with the less expensive yellow jackets.

I don't wish to start a slanging match, but would appreciate good informed advice.

I am after quality and reasonable price, the difference is a couple of hundred dollars, between brands.

this is a street daily driver, basically very stock.

read the thread.. make your choice.. some have problems with JJR.. some dont.. some have problems with YJ.. some dont.. some have problems with splitfires.. some don't..

make your choice and go from there..
