It took me ages to discover what this is, but I think I have narrowed it down! (edit: no i haven't )

If you swear in your post, it blocks it out with the stars. If you go back into edit this post, the stars will be in there and if you post it will go to the "page not found". Therefore you can't edit a post with swears in it unless you cut off a couple of the asterisks.

Actually no idea!! as its not doing it now, but it seems its something to do with special characters and editing of that post. I've had it happen many times.

The only reliable way to post on this board is to copy to clipboard, in case you lose everything you were about to say, as its very common.

yeah, its weird. Its somehow based on the content of your posts, and I think related to special characters used. But i still haven't figured out exactly what triggers it.

I did it again today going to "newreply.php"
