Hi Guys,

Just checked the tial website to find a new spring for my setup (60mm gate looking for 18-20psi, currently running 13psi) however tial has mentioned that in order to run higher boost levels i have to combine 2 springs together but only 1 from each category.

clearer explanation here

http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_60_sp.pdf

So does that mean i cant get a tial 20psi spring? What are my options?

Same as turbosmart.

It's simple maths. if they sell a 14 & 7, then you can only have 21 by combination.

essentially you can only have the psi spring base that they sell and you combine.

i understand that but it seems to say i can only combine a "small" spring with a "large" spring in a combo. Am i able to combine Large with Large?

is that reliable? especially at higher boost levels?

he had one made for his, and we are currently just shy of 500rwkw on std engine:) im sure he will tell you about it :D top guy and super helpful.

otherwise 21 psi isnt to bad a place to be provided it gives the extra ramp it seems to be missing with the 14psi spring.

The small spring fitts inside the large spring.... (paralell)

So no you cant run a large spring with another large spring. (series)

Or go with a single custom spring... Probably a better option.
