Hi im thinking of buying a 01-03 gt250 v35 or a gt300 v35 but would like opinions and feedback as to the difference in performance and fuel use as they look identical.

Also being an import is maintainence and parts a problem here in aust?

To me they seem like a bargain or is there a reason for it?

Thanks

Hi mate,

Have a read in this tread. (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sk...gt-t337367.html).

I am sure a 250GT will have a lower fuel consumption rate than a 300GT and 350GT.

Anyhow, although being an import, maintainence and parts are not a big problem as they share alot of parts with 350Z. As long as you go to a reputable import shop for maintainence, you should be fine. You just have to keep in mind that GT-8 (8 speed paddle shift) models are abit troublesome. If you break it, it's about $3000-$4500 to fix.

The V35 are a good car to drive. I have a 2004 V35 coupe auto (350GT) and it's a smooth ride. Plus it's a rearer import so it turns heads too. :bunny:

Good luck with your choice.

Thanks for that info!

I ended up changing my mind and buying a nissan murano as ive heared nothing but good things about, picked it up for a song 2006 model for $17500!

Nice.

Well, congrats on your new purchase. I like Nissan Murano too (Prior to 2010), but Mrs liked the new 2010 Nissan Dualis Ti that we test drove. So we bought that one for daily instead.

    • To be fair this is the wife’s car. However, I have been accused of owning more cars than I have pairs of undies. Luckily I change my undies more frequently than the cars.
    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.
