You can buy them new for less then that...

So its out of warranty & 250 more than a one now with warranty? Bit like buying a new car & storing it for a year than expecting the dealer to give you what you payed for it.

1) techniacally its used

2) out of warranty

3) $250 more than they are now

Have u guys looked at what turbo it is u bone heads its got the surge slots so go post sum thing good on sum1 else post if u want to do it do it in a private

http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/category12_1.htm I think it would be worth doing some research before making posts that are incorect. this same turbo is priced at $1795 brand new, so not a bad price considering this has never been used and still in the box. and it does state ono aswel. i paid $1850 for mine about 2 months ago brand new, and that was discounted from the shelf price also.

agree - I paid $1800 for mine brand new from a store with surge slots in the same .63 rear housing and .60 front - so it is good value - and warranty is pretty much useless with this stuff anyway unless you get a Garrett approved workshop to put it on and accept the warranty = $$$

There are alot cheaper 3076r's out there that are copies or do not include the anti surge housing, but this turbo has all the best attachments so keep your mouth shut S3SILO and read the for sale section rules.

Well i just assumed people would be wiser to buy from the states seeing as places here charge an arseload too much & even better option seeing as you say there is no warranty anyway. Heres my research ATP

Landed NEW for the same cost, seeing as i have to explain.. ill be quiet now WYTSKY

You get one from the us for that price after customs and shipping and to wait a week or two. so if you got nothing useful to say keep it to ur self

Admittedly buying from the states currently is good as when I bought mine it wasn't - but there are alot of risks with shipping regardless - if it gets lost, if it is damaged in transit, if it is not as you requested... I would prefer to hold it in my hand in Aus in a store/from a private seller and know it is exactly as I expect it.

Oh and because your new here I'll guess you havent bothered to read the for sale rules like I told you - I'll post the one relevant for you:

2. No price debates - put simply if you do not agree with the price being asked, do not comment on the thread. If you believe the seller is asking too much then either pm the thread starter or dont buy the items advertised - simple.

There is to be no "My cousin can get it for much less" or "Your asking too much" comments

Again comments such as the above will be deleted and if users persist in posting such comments, a warning will be issued

One more post about buying it cheaper from you and I'm reporting it to an admin.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
