very hard to answer without some more detail.

what are the 2 sets of tyres (brand and model)? Do either of them have an arrow on the sidewall (directional) or inside/outside on the sidewall (assymetric).

your car wont explode, no. assuming u mean u have directional tyres and one pair is out of wack, it will simply mean one pair wont disperse water as well as the other, there will also be slight tread rigidity differences. but as i said, the world wont come to an end, slight issues at most, nothing to get ur knickers in a knot.

Cheers, the only problem i've had is a slight wobble at 100km/h. Which never happened with stockies. And have been told by two tyre places that the newer rims are NOT out-of-round or un-balanced.

    • That's fair, I can see both points. I get enthusiastic when I see the FS section has a new post and want to see what interesting thing someone is selling. Then I get deflated it's a bump of a 10 year old post. Ha ha

    • Hey, I understand this is a skyline forum but I was hoping someone might be able to help me out here. Got an ‘84 M10 Prairie with an E15S that I’m trying to get running again after replacing a head gasket. I’m having some struggles with vacuum lines after replacing a couple perished ones. They’re all set up like in the diagram I’ve attached. I’ve tried starting the motor and my carb backfires a bit but no luck getting it to run.      Theres a 2nd port on the back of the carb that isn’t mentioned in the diagrams, right next to what I believe would be the idle screw (sorry I’m no good with carbs) - should this be attached to any lines?   any help would be greatly appreciated, I’m sick of pulling my hair out trying to figure this thing out 🤝🏼
