Hi everyone,

Like topic said, I am thinking of having whitewall on my tires in the future.

I got 19 inch Volk GT-C in gold, and tires are F 235/35/R19 and R 245/35/R19.

I just want to know:

(1). Any experiences with it, plus cost? Pros and cons.

(2). Will whitewall tires look ok on stock ride height? Mine is not lowered at the moment, but still lower than stock ride height because of the low-profile tires.

(3). Where in Perth, WA, can I go to for this job?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi mate,

I suggest you not get it...why?

Because...

1) It looks gay and "fully sick."

2) The outer walls of your tire has to be shaved which is actually not roadworthy.

3) Doesn't last long - 6 months max and looks crap after that.

4) Looks weird as it's too far from your wheels...I suggest you get wheels with colour lips if you like this look.

5) Not cheap for what it's worth, around $60 a rim, I think.

what about red walls instead, red apparantly is way cooler than white these days...

I recommend neither

Thanks for the idea, mate.

But I don't think it will be good colour combo for my car (White car, gold GT-C rims with polish lips, red walled tires :P ). I think it will be too much colour involved.

    • thanks for the advice on the box... i was thinking the 6 speed was better for cruising on the highway but on closer inspection and comparison the Rb 5 speed box was not too different...  So the choice is going to be the RB25 box... if I can save up and find one at the right price
    • Thanks Matt, yes that's what i am aiming for. Just going to apply the right voltage and grounds to the dash connector. Hence my search for these pins... any chance you know if these pins are in the same spot as the ones on the S15 Dash connector? as mentioned above on page 8?
    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
