Theres also a blue 34 GTR that has had 100g spent under the bonnet who lives in minyama (A mate worked at sunco when the car was getting a service).  I see him flogging it all the time.  And there is a quick 180sx that lives near parkhaven, sould do low 13 1/4mile

If you're refering to the blue GTR 34 with the number plates simo(something here) than all it has is a 4" exhaust from the down pipes and thats it, I also though it was fully done aswell but after meeting the owners daughter (chuckle) i know what it has...

How old is this daughter matt.

/Pounders thrashing fathers R34

The daughter is 18, and nice, but i'd go straight for the old man... If i where you, that is.. ehhehe I saw him crash it the other day, I was neally going to chase him down because he didnt even care. and just kept on driving

I remember you! I wanted to steal your number plate :D it seems alot more people come here than I though! It'll be fun to have a cruise with everyone one day as it seems the skyline population here is getting bigger and bigger.

Mat.

WOW we are one little happy sunshine family now.

It'd be a happy little sunshine coast family if there wasnt %90 of jocks living here who think that skylines and imports are jap crap and who think they know everything about cars.... though people tend to get mighty pissed off when they're beaten, but thats another story i'm sure everyone has had happen to them atleast once... :P

You no as well as I do Matt' date=' VN's with poo brown trim have to FAST!! has some thing to do with the auto me thinks

Me thinks about the 4 or so paddock bashing dunga commos we have  Auto's and poo brown are clearly the only way to go fast lol, best part about them is only bush mechanic basics are required for maintnence. One day people will learn that importing is the way of the future! Until then all we have are the fellow sunny coast sau members....so are we organising a meet/cruise??

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
