lol mw.

Something to say Eddie?

OT: MW Performance is great. Quality work, well priced, is legit, registered with MTQ, isn't dodgy and shadily run with stolen parts. He doesn't sleep in his shed. Doesn't promise to do work then bail on people when the jobs half done/too hard (not saying other real workshops would do this, just an example)

Always had work done there, Car has never missed a beat. made 330hp all day every day for 2 years, built motor, turbo stuff done, 5 stud stuff, cage, everything.

Marty is meticulous with the work he does.

Mate there are other people on the coast who know cars. you just have to know them. i knew marty also, he was good at what he does. but saying that, garage redzone is as good also, and am auto are too if you really want to go all the way to noosa. if you can do stuff yourself thats fine. but the reason people are looking for a mechanic is that fact they dont have the skills or the tools to do it, also a time thing where a mechanic can do it in a day or so might take some people 3 weeks, and some cant afford to have there cars off the road for that long.

So all you have to do is talk to these people and check out there work. im sure you will find them more then helpful in these areas.

places not to touch are kawana auto service and Totally Imports. I used to work at Toatall Imports, and the owner is very dodgey in what he gets us to do. Craig at Toruqe and Tune is very good , and so is browns performance in nambour with small things. Don't take anything to top cog. if anything take it down to brisbane to mark at godzilla motorsport or top rpm highly rated workshops with proven background, and stay away from mercury motorsport.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
