Any ideas on what’s the cause of the odd numbers in IgnTmng & InjDuty Columns?

check the connection, re-check it, are you using true serial port or usb dongle?

is the hand controller plugged in at the same time?

it's bogus numbers as you cant have ignition timing of 70, the engine would melt, likewise with 0's you would notice it backfire its ass off with mega retarded timing

Mate I’m using an Ebay cheap & nasty $2 Serial to USB cable. I do have a serial port so I’ll switch back & see how it goes.

Yes the numbers can’t be true as the car was running ok, having said that the last couple of times I’ve taken the it out to log some data it’s just stopped with stuffed ignition modules. Not sure what could wreck 2 modules but I don’t think it’s related to the bogus numbers in the log.

I think I’ll do a Data Init & see where that gets me?

never unplug datalogit or the hand controller or plug in for that matter too, when the car is ON and it has power

the apexi documentation strongly advises against it and it should only ever be plugged/un-plugged with power off

its a bit homo i know, but dont do it when its ON

also i wouldnt think DATA INIT would fix anything

it just resets the maps

try true serial also, much more stable

I was referring to when I take the car out.

No I’ve never unplug anything with the power on. I always disconnect the Neg battery Terminal & turn on lights before going near the ecu.

Yes you are right I’ll try true serial 1^st as going through the self learn again for no good reason is just a waist of fuel.
